The junior section at Ashley Wood held their Christmas celebration, which included presentations, golf, and the traditional captains’ handover.
Congratulations to Ellis and Abi, the winning scramble team; to Ihan, who received the Bob Foster Trophy in recognition of his achievements and progress this season; and to Harmony, who won both the Order of Merit scratch and handicap shields.
Outgoing captain Harry gave a brief speech and presented Harmony with her club jumper as the new incoming junior captain.
Harmony wrapped up the event with a confident speech, expressing her gratitude and honour at being appointed captain.
As part of the Christmas get together the juniors had a delicious Christmas meal provided by the Clubhouse 1896 team
