Local Rules

A. OUT OF BOUNDS & COURSE BOUNDARIES 

Out of Bounds is defined by the line between the course-side points at ground level of white stakes and Ranch/Fence Posts

B. PENALTY AREAS (Rule 17) 

The Red Penalty area on the 14th Hole defined on only side extends to infinity.

C. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS & INTEGRAL OBJECTS 

1. Play is prohibited from all outline areas around gorse or areas marked as G.U.R

2. Any area of abnormal conditions caused by drainage work 

3. The ranch fence to the right of the 3rd green 

4. Metal fences beside the 4th & 6th tees 

5. All made made paths except along side the 14th Fairway with the Penalty area

6. Road crossing the 1st Fairway 

7. All sprinkler heads 

 

D. PUTTING GREENS (Rule 13.1f) 

When taking wrong green relief from the 9th & 14th, the wrong green is defined to include the area of fairway within the one cliub-lengths from the edge of the putting green. This means when taking relief under rule 13.1f, the nearest point of complete relief must avoid interference from this area in addition to the wrong green. 

 

E. BALL DEFLECTED BY POWER LINE 

If it is know or virtually certain that a player's ball has hit a power line (or tower or wire or pole supporting a power line) during the play on 8th & 16th hole the stroke does not count. The player MUST play a ball without penalty from where the previous stroke was made (see Rule 14.6) 

 

F. SPECIAL OR REQUIRED RELIEF PROCEDURE 

The young trees indenditifed by being staked are no play areas. If a players ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a Penalty area and it lies on or touches such tree or such tree interferes with the player's stance or area of intending swing, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f
