Ashley Wood Golf Club Captain – Tony Watson

As the 2010 Captain of the club may I introduce myself and welcome all members and prospective members to this web page. Until my retirement I was a Chartered Engineer working  for Lloyd's Register. I have been a member of the club for over 20 years and a committee member for a number of years.

 Each year the Club Captain runs a charity which is supported by a number of fund raising events during the year.  This year my charity is The British Heart Foundation having had personal experience of the benefits of their expertise some 5 years ago. As heart decease is one of the biggest killers of people in the country I hope that this charity will be well supported throughout the year either by supporting the fund raising events or by contributing in the charity box located on the club bar.
