Another fantastic day at Ashley Wood. Our 2nd visit for our Charity Golf Day and we had nothing but positive comments. 

The BEST bacon rolls ever!
All the food was superb. The staff helpful and friendly, despite some last minute changes with attendees, and as always Steve stepped in to help were our golfing expertise failed (THANK YOU!).

The only thing lacking was the perfect weather, but despite that a firm 10/10 on all counts.

Vinyl Solutions Charity Golf Day in aid of Julia's House

Thoroughly enjoyed our day at Ashley Wood; the course has greened up nicely with the recent rain and we were lucky to suffer just a brief downpour late in the day. Otherwise lovely sunshine and some wonderful views, for a very enjoyable round of golf for the 27 of us. The admin beforehand and on the day was exemplary, and Steve ensured that everything was as it should be throughout. The breakfasts were a big hit with our members, and expertly served in quick order by the kitchen/bar staff. We had a great day, certainly look forward to visiting Ashley Wood GC again asap.

Moors Valley GC Seniors Away Day

We just wanted to thank you and everyone at Ashley Wood Golf Club for hosting such a fantastic Junior Open yesterday. The event was superbly organised, and every member of staff and volunteer we met so friendly, helpful, and supportive. The legendary halfway hut — with quite possibly the most delicious cakes we’ve ever had (shout out for fruit cake, flapjacks, Biscoff cake and coconut cookies) — was a real highlight! The course looked beautiful, and while we noticed some of the recent wildlife damage, it certainly didn’t detract from the stunning setting or the enjoyment of the day. The prizegiving was fun, light-hearted, and wonderfully unique with the lucky dip element — such a great way to involve everyone. This has been our first season participating in the Tour, as well as our first visit to Ashley Wood; we can honestly say it was the best event we’ve attended.

Thank you - we look forward to playing there again!

The Pro made us very welcome, he was very attentive & explained course, conditions etc very clearly & concisely…it was a very warm & friendly welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed playing your course especially after the first 5/6 holes…which were a challenge to say the least!

We had a fantastic day at The Ashley Wood. We had 30 ladies out playing, with a 2 course meal afterwards & the whole day was great. Everywhere looked fresh, clean & tidy. The place smelt nice & the welcome from Steve & Debbie was warm.  Overall a very good day out with value for money. We will be back.

We chose Ashley Wood for our annual away day this year. We were made very welcome upon arrival by everyone. Coffee & Danish patties were waiting for us followed 18 holes of golf and the we all sat down to a superb two course meal..  Great place to visit…nice course and delicious food. What more could you ask for.

We were visitors for the first time and very impressed with the role that everyone played on the day.
Your Lady Captain made a point of introducing herself as soon as we arrived explaining the day and any questions we may have had.

A cracking day yesterday, the course was remarkably good considering the recent weather, especially the greens. The food was very good and all of the staff were charming. We had a good day!

The course was in fantastic condition, especially the greens. The welcome and understanding from yourself Steve, as always, was impeccable. 

The food again was echoed by all to be outstanding and the staff do your venue credit with their attention to detail and professionalism in the delivery. 

We all look forward to playing TAWGC as it has always been one of our most prestigious venues. Thank you and please pass on to your staff our gratitude and sincere thanks for all their hard work.

I should just like to pass on our thanks to Steve and his team up at Ashley Wood for the hosting of our Society Day of 40 players last week.

The behinds the scene organisation by the Club, together with the condition of the course, clubhouse and catering were all most impressive, and I have no hesitation on providing a glowing testimony from our Society.

We all had a wonderful time. Very impressed with your course condition - lush fairways, and greens, for this time of year, in great condition and quite speedy. All your staff were so helpful, from the Pro shop, Debbie and all your caterers. Our room was beautifully set up. Excellent bacon and egg baps pre golf and lots of tea/coffee. The meal after golf was superb - all commented on the quality and cooking of the beef, plenty of al dente veggies, and delicious crumbles and fruit salad. Also thanked Pro shop and Debbie for their help, and several of your gentlemen members who helped me by carrying in our prizes!
